Alex Palmer has a diverse work experience in the construction and energy sectors. Alex worked at WBI Energy from 2013 and held various roles including Senior Project Planner, Project Planner - Scheduler, and Survey Technician. At WBI Energy, Alex assisted supervisors, land surveyors, project managers, engineers, and GIS personnel with surveys and mapping for pipeline construction. Alex also prepared exhibits, construction maps, and pipeline design drawings. Before their time at WBI Energy, Alex worked as a Construction Laborer at Myers Construction from 2007 to 2013.

Alex Palmer obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Mary in 2020. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating from North Dakota State College of Science from 2011 to 2013. In 2010 to 2011, Alex Palmer also completed a Certificate in Plumbing Technology/Plumber from North Dakota State College of Science.
