Linda Wildes has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Linda began their career in the US Air Force, where they served as a Military Officer for twenty years. During their time in the Air Force, they worked as a Project Engineer and Program Manager, and later transitioned to a Requirements Officer role while assigned to the Joint Staff. Linda retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in September 2004.
After leaving the Air Force, Linda joined the Joint Staff as a Plans and Programs Budgeting Officer. In this role, they led the program and budget reviews of Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) requirements, prepared the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff position, and managed funding for emergency/high priority AT/FP requirements.
Following their tenure at the Joint Staff, Linda joined SAF/AQIM as the Chief of the Congressional Affairs Branch, before moving on to SAF/AQII as a Program Element Monitor for Command & Control (C2) Programs. In this role, they directed budgetary actions for several C2 programs and gained support for upgrading and maintaining key C2 capabilities.
Linda then joined the JSTARS JPO, where they served as the Chief of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Team. Linda led a team responsible for managing total system integration for E-8C development, production, and sustainment activities, and established processes for baseline management and issue resolution.
After leaving the JSTARS JPO, Linda joined Alion Science and Technology as a Senior Engineer Technical Manager. In this role, they provided technical assistance to the Air Force Chief Engineer's Advisory Team and supported C2 programs by providing guidance on technical planning documentation and Technology Readiness Assessments.
Currently, Linda is working at WBB, where they started as a Senior Systems Engineer in August 2007, supporting the Single Integrated Air Picture Joint Program Office. Linda then transitioned to the role of Program Manager in July 2011, overseeing various projects and initiatives.

Linda Wildes has a comprehensive education history that includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, which they obtained from Northeastern University between 1979 and 1984. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1993. In 1998 to 1999, Linda furthered their education at Air Command and Staff College, earning a Master of Science in Military Operational Art and Science. Lastly, they attended Defense Acquisition University in 2001 to 2002, where they focused on Advanced Program Management.
