John M. Wyrwas, PhD, is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in autonomous systems and integrated autonomy simulations. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Director of Evaluation at Wayve, John previously held multiple positions at Aurora, including Director of Software Engineering and Software Technical Lead Manager. John's career also includes significant roles at Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer and Senior Engineer, and formative experiences as a Graduate Student Researcher and Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an internship at Alcatel-Lucent's Bell Labs.
