Loraleigh Keashly is a Professor at Wayne State University since August 1997, specializing in research on workplace aggression and bullying, particularly within university environments and faculty experiences. In addition to serving as a Distinguished Service Professor and Associate Dean of Curricular and Student Affairs, Loraleigh Keashly oversees curricular development and student services while participating in university task forces focused on diversity and budget models. Previous roles include Academic Director for the Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution, overseeing program development and student advising, and Interim Chair of a department with three areas of study and a large student body. Prior academic positions were held at the University of Guelph as an Associate Professor and at the University of New Brunswick as an Assistant Professor. Loraleigh Keashly holds a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, an M.A. in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary.
