Greg Thomas has extensive experience in public safety and emergency response, currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff for corrections at the William Dickerson Jail with the Wayne County Sheriff Office since March 2017. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as an Engineer/Firefighter for the City of Woodhaven from October 2015 to August 2019, and held various positions at US Ecology, Inc. from December 2010 to November 2016, advancing from Emergency Response Supervisor to Coordinator. Thomas also has a background in firefighting, having served in multiple capacities with the City of Woodhaven and Farmington Hills. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Computer Aided Design from Schoolcraft College and additional coursework at Walsh College and Schoolcraft College.
