Aditya Gupta is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Waymo since March 2021, Aditya oversees a team of 20 machine learning engineers focusing on model scaling for prediction models. Prior to this role, Aditya worked at Google from October 2013 to March 2021, contributing to significant improvements in Display Ads revenue through optimized query processing. Aditya's early career includes positions as a Quantitative Research Intern at Dolat Capital, a Research Intern at ETH Zurich and Yahoo!, and a solid educational background with a B.Tech-M.Tech dual degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, complemented by a summer program in Machine Learning at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
