Dr Nagappan Arunachalam has extensive experience in the technology, healthcare, and marketing industries. From 1998 to 2006, they worked as an ER Doctor at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust. In 2004, they co-founded and served as CEO of InAMobile, a mobile photo data product that was sold to NewBay. That same year, they co-founded Legato Music Platform, which was sold to Media Markt/247. In 2006, they became the Chief Marketing and Product Officer of NewBay Software, which was funded by Benchmark Europe and later acquired by BlackBerry for $100m+. From 2012 to 2016, Dr Arunachalam was the Senior Director of Cloud Services at BlackBerry. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the SVP of Cloud Services at Jio and as a Jio Fellow. During this same time period, they were also the VP of Marketing at Even.com, where they helped employers help their employees break the paycheck to paycheck cycle. Finally, from 2018 to present, Dr Arunachalam has been the Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Way.com, as well as an Advisor at Snap Inc. and Even.com.
Dr Nagappan Arunachalam has a comprehensive educational background, beginning with their O-levels from Garden International School from 1988 to 1990. Dr Nagappan then attended Methodist College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where they earned their A-Levels from 1990 to 1992. In 1992, they began their medical studies at the University of Liverpool, where they obtained their MBCHB in 1998. In August of 1998, they were certified by the General Medical Council with an MBBS.
