Choong Chan has a diverse work experience. Choong started working at Wavo.me in February 2020 as an Ad Operations Analyst, where they executed and managed marketing campaigns for various artists and record labels. In January 2021, they moved up to the role of Team Coordinator, where they distributed and assigned responsibilities for music marketing campaigns and monitored the team's workload. Choong was later promoted to the role of Team Manager in July 2022, where they ensured the team had the necessary resources to achieve marketing goals. Prior to their time at Wavo.me, Choong worked as an Economic Development Associate at ROI Research On Investment, conducting market research and assessing strategic drivers. Choong also has experience as a Data Management Associate at McGill University and as a Digital Marketing Manager at the Finance Alliance for Sustainable Trade. Additionally, during their time at Ningbo Huamao International School from 2013 to 2015, they served as the Head Boy of School, leading the student council and organizing school events.
Choong Chan attended McGill University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in International Business and Strategic Management. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they attended Ningbo Huamao International School and completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. From 2010 to 2013, they also attended Ningbo Huamao International School and completed the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. In addition to their formal education, Choong received several certifications, including the Corporate Investment Prospector certification from ROI Research On Investment in October 2019, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme certification from the International Baccalaureate in May 2015, and Google Ads Display Certification and Google Ads Search Certification from Google in February 2020.
