Jason Havens, P.E. is a seasoned professional in civil engineering and design, currently serving as Principal and Director of Civil Design at Waves AE since September 2023, where services encompass architecture, engineering, and recreation design. Havens has been the President of Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. since January 2013, contributing to the craft beer industry in Western New York as a NYS Farm Brewery. An adjunct instructor at the University at Buffalo since December 2009, Havens teaches CAD Design for Civil Engineering. Contributions to the Engineering Young Alumni Board emphasize support for the engineering department's advancement and alumni engagement. Previously, Havens held the position of Vice President at WNY WAVES, LLC and has a long-standing involvement with the American Society of Civil Engineers, serving in various leadership roles since 2003. A licensed Professional Engineer in New York State, Havens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
