Bill Fienup is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in the MedTech and product development sectors. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the MedTech Accelerator at mHUB since January 2016, Bill has led a six-month incubation program designed to accelerate high-potential MedTech startups through investment and product development. Prior to this role, Bill co-founded and served as Vice President and Director of Innovation Services at mHUB, the first innovation center in Chicago focused on physical product development. Bill's entrepreneurial journey includes founding Catalyze Chicago, serving as CEO, and co-founding BikeSpike Inc., providing solutions for bicycle tracking. Bill's earlier experience includes positions as Director at MB Labs and Mechanical Design Engineer at Insight Product Development. Bill holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Bill currently serves as a Board Observer for multiple startups, including FurnaQuantum and Wave Therapeutics.
