Liz Savory serves as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Wave Mobile Money, a company dedicated to creating a modern financial network in Africa, where less than 10% of the population has a bank account. With experience starting from Sendwave, Liz has been instrumental in Wave's growth from its inception, now employing over 800 people. Previous roles include Evaluation Manager at Coffey International Ltd., where Liz managed international development projects, and Research Consultant at Economic Development Initiatives, overseeing qualitative evaluations in Tanzania. Additional experience includes coordinating research studies at Jhpiego and interning with organizations such as USAID and the American Red Cross. Liz holds a Master's in Public Administration focused on Monitoring and Evaluation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in African Studies and Economics from Middlebury College.
