Tomomi Kawamoto is a seasoned professional in in vivo research with extensive experience in various managerial and scientific roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager of In Vivo Research at Wave Life Sciences since March 2018, Tomomi previously held positions as Manager and Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology. Prior to Wave Life Sciences, Tomomi was the Manager of Laboratory Operations at Champions Oncology, Inc., overseeing day-to-day scientific operations and ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where Tomomi managed the Study Support team, and foundational roles as Research Animal Specialist at Merck and Lab Animal Technician at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Tomomi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2004.
