Johnnie Tysklind is an experienced educator with a strong background in technology and elementary education. Since July 2014, Johnnie has served as both a K-5 Technology Teacher and a 5th Grade Teacher at Waukee Community School District. Prior to this role, Johnnie gained valuable experience as a Substitute Teacher in West Des Moines Community Schools and Des Moines Public Schools, where instruction was provided to students in grades K-8. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Teacher Education and Professional Development from Drake University, earned in 2017, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa College of Education, completed in 2014.
