Alexander Tran is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in user-centered design and UX consulting. Currently serving as a Staff Product Designer at Mechanical Orchard since March 2024, Alexander focuses on modernizing legacy systems with software best practices and generative AI. Other recent roles include Design Advisor for WattShift and an independent UX Consultant for various clients in climate and wellness sectors. Alexander has a history of contributing to organizations such as U.S. Digital Response, Shelf Engine, VMware Tanzu Labs, Pivotal Software, and Embroker, where skills in product design and user experience have been applied to enhance digital products and services. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Analysis from Pomona College and a Master of Science in Information Design from Bentley University, supplemented by study in Architecture at the University of Melbourne.
