David Brumlage has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started their career in 2005 as a Staff Accountant at IBCTV Inc., where they oversaw accounts payable and accounts receivable, processed staff payroll, and reconciled bank accounts and credit card transactions.
David then moved on to Fourth Presbyterian Church/RSM McGladrey in 2007, working as an Accountant. Here, they reconciled bank accounts, balance sheets, and payroll accounts, prepared general ledger and payroll journal entries, and created amortizations and fixed asset schedules for month-end close.
In 2008, David joined the Chicago School of Professional Psychology as a Senior Accountant. In 2017, David became the Accounting Manager at New Directions for Veterans. David managed shared cost allocations, grant budgets, and oversaw all accounting and cash activities. David also managed approximately 20 Federal/state/local grants and contracts.
In 2018, David worked as a Consultant Sr. Grant Accountant at People Assisting The Homeless (PATH). David managed and directed approximately 30 Federal/state/county/local grants, prepared monthly billings to government agencies, and tracked and monitored all charges made to the program funds.
Currently, David is the Assistant Controller at Watts Healthcare Corporation. David assists in preparing patient billing revenue reports, reviews and reconciles monthly income statements and grant account receivables, and supervises and trains accountants while overseeing all accounting activities.
David Brumlage obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management from the year 2000 to 2002. David also earned a Bachelor's Degree in a unspecified field of study from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, they completed an Associate of Applied Science in Accountancy, specializing in Accounting, from Universiti Teknologi MARA in Malaysia.
