Michael Shurr has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael started their career in 1965 with Carrier Corporation, working their way up to the position of Director of Dealer Development. Michael then opened a gift store called Memories in 1993 before transitioning to solely offering picture framing services after relocating. In 2006, they became a Sales Associate at Watson Realty Corp. In 2013, Michael became an Independent Distributor for LifeVantage, operating a distribution network selling science-based nutritional supplements. Overall, their experience includes sales, management, and entrepreneurship.

Michael Shurr completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1955 to 1960. Michael later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Management from Syracuse University, where they attended from 1986 to 1989.
