Paul McCluskey has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Paul began their career in 1999 as a C Developer at Codefast.com and later worked as a Java Developer at Guild Software. In 2002, they became a Partner at Industrial System Sciences Inc before joining Shopster e-Commerce Inc as their CTO in 2007. From 2010 to 2013, Paul co-founded and managed BigBadElk, an offshore outsourcing solutions provider. Paul then served as the Manager of Online Technologies at Gescan Division of Sonepar from 2013 to 2015. Paul's most recent role is Director of Ecommerce at Watsco, Inc, a position they have held since 2015.

Paul McCluskey attended the University of Calgary from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Molecular and Microbial Biology. Paul then continued at the same university from 1996 to 1999, completing another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Computer Science.
