Jyothirmayee Kandula is a skilled researcher in climate science and adaptive sustainable agriculture, serving as a Research Officer at the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) since June 2017. Responsibilities include researching groundwater hydrology, soil health management, and developing practices related to climate change. Previously, Jyothirmayee was a Programme Specialist at AKRSPI, focusing on rural livelihoods and agriculture projects and creating communication materials for village-level knowledge dissemination. Jyothirmayee's educational background includes a Master of Sciences in Ecology and Environment Studies from Nalanda University, a summer internship in Agriculture and Biological Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Science Education from the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research.
