Chris Johnson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal sector. Currently a Partner at Waters Kraus & Paul since July 2017 and at Galiher DeRobertis & Waxman LLP since November 2019, Chris previously held positions as an Associate Attorney at McCathern, PLLC and an Assistant District Attorney at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, where representation was provided for the State of Texas in various legal proceedings. Chris also contributed to academia as an Affiliate Professor at the University of North Texas School of Law, teaching Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from January 2016 to January 2023. Additional experience includes being a Partner at Johnson Noriega PLLC, Staff Attorney at Baron and Budd, and involvement with the SMU Criminal Justice Clinic as a Student Attorney and Supervisor. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin.
