Jennifer Steffens, P.E., serves as Chairwoman of the Board and Founding Partner at WaterRising Institute since August 2022. Previously, Jennifer held the position of Vice President Marketing and Alliances at OptiRTC, Inc. from July 2023 to October 2024, and served as Director of Strategy & Marketing at SES North America, Inc. from March 2021 to April 2023. Earlier experience includes working as a Client Solutions Architect at Xylem Inc. from January 2019 to March 2021, focusing on smart urban watershed solutions, and as a Client Services Manager for pureAnalytics at Pure Technologies from June 2011 to January 2019, providing strategic support across various operational sectors. Jennifer began their career at Contech, first as a Project Engineer, then as Regional Regulatory Manager and Senior Project Manager, from June 2005 to November 2009. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University in 2005.
