Cherri Greeno has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cherri began their career as a Staff Reporter at the Waterloo Region Record in 2000. After working there for 13 years, they transitioned to becoming a Freelance Reporter at Grand Magazine. In 2016, Cherri joined the Waterloo Regional Police Service as a Media Relations Coordinator, a role they held until 2019. Cherri then took on the position of Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Information at the police service from 2020 to 2022. Recently, Cherri has become the Director of Corporate Affairs at the Waterloo Regional Police Service. Additionally, in 2022 they published a book called "Mismatched Martha" as an author with Austin Macauley Publishers.
Cherri Greeno completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at Acadia University from 1994 to 1998. Cherri then pursued further education by attending Western University and earned their Master of Arts in Journalism from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, they returned to Acadia University for an unspecified period and completed a degree program. Cherri Greeno later returned to Western University to obtain a Master of Journalism degree with a specialization in Journalism.
