Matt Brown has been in the technology industry since 1997. Matt began their career as a Consultant at Accenture and then moved to Thaumaturgix as the Director of Professional Services in 1999. In 2004, they became the Managing Director, Partner at Fusion Technologies. From 2006 to 2009, they were the Vice President at Alliance Consulting/Alliance Global Services, where they ran the commercial software practice and provided outsourced product development teams for embedded BI/Analytics and enterprise Java/.NET clients. In 2009, they founded and became the CEO of Waterloo Data, which is exclusively focused on providing consulting services for data warehouse, business intelligence, and advanced analytics implementations.

Matt Brown graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Matt also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
