Tomek Karpinski is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Investment Director and Head of the Warsaw office at Waterland Private Equity since August 2013, with a focus on transaction execution and sourcing in various industries including healthcare, outsourcing, services, consumer goods, TMT, and industrials. Prior experience includes roles as Associate at EQT Partners and The Carlyle Group, and Associate and Analyst in the TMT Group at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup in London. Tomek began the career as an Equity Research Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston, following summer internships at Ernst & Young and Citigroup. Educational qualifications consist of a Master's Degree in Finance and Banking from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, a Master's Degree in CEMS MIM from the Stockholm School of Economics, and studies at Heidelberg University.
