Jay Hammond has extensive experience in training and development within the geothermal heating and cooling industry, currently serving as Training Manager/Contractor Development and Residential Trainer at WaterFurnace International since December 2019. Additionally, Jay is an NRA Certified Instructor, offering courses in Basic Pistol and Personal Protection in the Home. Previous leadership roles include Past President and 501c3 Founder of the DeKalb County Youth Shooting Sports Foundation, which supports local high school and club shotgun teams. Jay has also held various positions across several companies, including Consultant at GeoExcel, Service Manager at Auburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram Truck, Managing Partner at GeoMaster, LLC, and Customer Service Manager/Engineer at Geothermal Design Associates, Inc. An advisory council member for IGSHPA from 2014 to 2016, Jay's career spans over two decades in technical sales and support, further solidifying expertise in the field.
