Hemant Shah is a seasoned professional in the alternative asset management industry, boasting over 18 years of experience. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Fund Accounting at WaterEquity since July 2023, Hemant has previously held significant roles including the Director of Fund Accounting at Piedmont Fund Services from December 2019 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing client relationships and addressing their needs proactively. Earlier, Hemant was an Assurance Senior Manager at RSM US from October 2014 to November 2019, contributing to the growth of the financial service practice in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Hemant began a career at Deloitte & Touche in 2004 as an audit staff member, advancing to Audit Senior Manager within the Financial Service practice, with a focus on hedge funds and asset management companies.
