Cheryl Hudson Wright is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in investment compliance and diversity development. Currently serving as Director of Investment Compliance and previously as Director of Compliance and Senior Associate at WaterEquity since September 2018, Cheryl has built a robust career in compliance roles across various organizations. Prior to WaterEquity, Cheryl was the Senior Diversity and Career Development Manager at Holland & Knight LLP from November 2012 to September 2018, and served as Associate Director and Adjunct Professor at The John Marshall Law School from August 2011 to October 2012. Further experience includes positions as Senior Career Advisor/Coach at Shannon and Manch LLP, and Senior Attorney Development Manager at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where Cheryl was involved in the merger with Swidler Berlin LLP in March 2006. Additional roles include Manager of State and Local Relations at Children's Defense Fund and Associate positions at Moore & Van Allen and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Cheryl holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Howard University.
