Anu Valli is the Director of Financial Institutions Investments at WaterEquity, where responsibilities include leading investments in emerging market financial institutions to enhance access to water and sanitation financing. Prior roles include Regional Director for East Asia & Pacific at WaterEquity, and Senior Investment Analyst at Symbiotics, overseeing debt finance in South Asia. Valli has held multiple board positions with organizations such as Svasti Microfinance, Asmitha Microfin Limited, and Husk Power Systems, focusing on financial inclusion and renewable energy. Anu Valli's earlier experience includes roles at Bamboo Capital Partners and Citigroup, as well as leading the Rural Energy Network Enterprise at IFMR Trust. Valli holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the International Management Institute, New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Commerce from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Madras University.
