John Moyer currently serves as President at WaterConnect, overseeing the development of water and sanitation projects aimed at enhancing climate-resilient infrastructure investments in emerging markets since 2024. Moyer has extensive experience in the water sector, previously holding leadership roles including Chief Investment Officer and Senior Director of Investments at WaterEquity from 2016 to 2024, and Senior Manager for Southeast Asia at Water.org from 2012 to 2016. As the Founder of Catalyst Development Finance, Moyer provided consulting services focused on increasing access to capital for micro, small, and medium enterprises. Moyer's earlier roles include Senior Technical Officer at Global Communities, Consultant positions at Alternative Credit Technologies and Alternativa Solidaria Chiapas, and an Analyst position at the United States Treasury Department. Moyer holds a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and an MA in International Finance and Economic Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
