Ivan Alvarez is an accomplished Network Manager with extensive experience in managing network and infrastructure, currently serving at Waterbury Public Schools since November 2020. Previously, Ivan held similar positions at ACES from October 2014 to November 2020 and at Office Depot, where responsibilities included managing IT operations and providing technical support from July 2009 to October 2014. Early career experience includes positions at Office Depot Inc. as a Senior IT Field Support Specialist and Systems Engineer, where support for sales and distribution center requests was managed. Ivan began the career at Sears as Brand Central Manager overseeing various departments. Ivan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC Irvine and an Associate degree in Science from El Camino College.
