Shawn Meyer is a seasoned professional in environmental sciences with extensive experience in project management and hydrology. Currently serving as Senior Scientist and Manager at Waterborne Environmental, Inc. since August 2022, Shawn previously held the role of Lead Project Manager at the South Florida Water Management District from July 2019 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the U.S. Geological Survey as a Hydrologic Technician from October 2008 to July 2019, and earlier positions at Southern Illinois University as Aquaculture Facilities Manager and Assistant Professor from January 2004 to January 2008 and May 2006 to August 2006, respectively. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, earned in 2004.
