Jeff Holway was part of the team that founded Water Street in 2005. Prior to Water Street, he achieved a distinguished investment record as a lender and investor at JPMorgan. During his 27-year career at JPMorgan and its predecessor banks, Jeff was promoted to leadership positions as a principal in leveraged finance, mezzanine lending and private equity. He joined the First National Bank of Chicago in 1978. Jeff was appointed head of First Chicago Mezzanine Capital in 1989, a partner of First Chicago Equity Capital in 1992 and managing partner of Bank One Venture Partners in 2000. He was one of the founding partners of One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JPMorgan. During his tenure as a principal in the mezzanine and direct private equity businesses, Jeff served on the boards of numerous portfolio companies. Beginning in 2001, Jeff oversaw approximately 100 private equity funds at One Equity Partners. He received a bachelor¡¯s degree in geology from the Western State College of Colorado. Jeff earned a master¡¯s degree in geology from Arizona State University and a master¡¯s degree in business administration from Arizona State University.
