A pioneer in digital marketing, “data driven” aptly describes David Kaplan, whose career includes over 25 years of leadership, marketing, and management consulting experience in both public and privately held companies, start-ups, and Big 4 management consulting firm, Deloitte.
From working with the first wave of e-commerce companies to his work with WatchBox, David’s career has spanned the e-commerce era. Starting in 2012, David led the digital growth of Govberg Jewelers across the Company’s platforms and business divisions, building the marketing, operations, and technology infrastructure leading to the launch of WatchBox as a separate platform in 2017.
Serving as WatchBox’s inaugural Chief Marketing Officer, David’s team launched the WatchBox brand and built the Company’s global marketing and media infrastructure. He was named Chief Operating Officer in 2020, where he ensures the integration between, and performance of, the Company’s departments and geographic business units while leading strategic business and corporate development initiatives.
