Krishnan Kasturirangan has worked in various roles since 2002. Krishnan began their career as a Transportation Analyst at Cambridge Systematics in 2002. In 2006, they moved to McKinsey & Company, where they served as an Engagement Manager and worked with clients in North America and West Africa, predominantly in financial services (banking). In 2010, they became a Management Consultant. In 2013, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Knowlarity Communications, a cloud communications provider in emerging markets. In 2016, they returned to being a Management Consultant. Most recently, in 2018, they became Co-Founder of Wastelink, a food surplus management company that helps food manufactures manage their surplus and waste.
Krishnan Kasturirangan completed their BTech in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1998. Krishnan then went on to obtain an MS in Transportation Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2000. Krishnan concluded their education in 2006 with a PhD in Transportation Engineering from Northwestern University.
