Brophy Tyree has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2015, they co-owned and partnered with Rockefeller Beds until 2017. In 2019, they became a founding advisor for Do Good Shit, a role in which they provided guidance and support. Also in 2019, they co-founded Earthtones, a company that focuses on regenerative tourism. They served as a board member and advisor for Earthtones until their departure in 2021. In 2020, they became a fellow at the Edmund Hillary Fellowship, and in 2021, they co-founded and became the CEO of Wasted*, a company that aims to promote circular sanitation and the restoration of the nutrient cycle.
Brophy Tyree attended Dartmouth College from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Computer Science and Philosophy. Brophy obtained a high school diploma from The Hotchkiss School from 2010 to 2014. In 2018, Brophy also completed a Semester in Patagonia program at NOLS, focusing on mountaineering and sea kayaking. In addition to their academic achievements, Brophy has additional certifications, including Contemplative Nature Guide from Awake in the Wild Teacher Training and YTT200 Yoga Teacher Certification from Yoga Alliance.
