Ryan Battles has worked in the marketing and web development fields since 2008. In 2008, they began working as a Web Development Intern at Grip Technology, Inc. and also started their own web marketing agency, Jovia Web Studio. In 2012, they were Lead Front-End Engineer at Crushpath. In 2013, they co-founded Harpoon, a financial planning, invoicing, forecasting, and metrics app designed for freelancers. In 2016, they became Director of Marketing at WasteBits, where they created and implemented the overall marketing vision and strategy, and improved marketing efforts, customer success, and customer retention.
Ryan Battles obtained a B.S. in Web Development from Franklin University from 2007 to 2009. Ryan then obtained a B.A. in Theology from Malone University from 1996 to 2001. In October 2020, they obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google. Lastly, in July 2021, they obtained the HubSpot Marketing Software certification from HubSpot Academy.
