Krista Helbing is an experienced school psychologist currently serving as an Administrative Intern at Kent School District since July 2019, where roles include intern supervisor and OSPI BEST mentor. Krista is also a Co-Representative for area 1D in King County with the Washington State Association of School Psychologists, representing the organization on the Washington Education Association Professional Educators Standards Board and the ECSEL Teacher Leadership Program grant project. Previous positions include school psychologist roles at East Central Boces and Adams County School District 14, along with responsibilities as UCD Student representative and Publications Chair for the Colorado Society of School Psychologists. Krista's research experience includes a position at the Positive Early Learning Experiences Center at the University of Colorado. Krista holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in School Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Communications, and Hispanic Health and Human Services from Carroll University. Currently, Krista is pursuing further education at the University of Washington Bothell.
