Athena Gavaris is a seasoned psychotherapist and consultant in private practice, currently operating Athena Gavaris Psychotherapy Services since September 2015, specializing in individual and couples therapy. With a robust academic background, Athena serves as faculty for the Fundamental Concepts and Techniques of Dynamic Psychotherapy at the Washington School of Psychiatry since August 2019, and previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at the National Catholic School of Social Services at The Catholic University of America from August 2013 to July 2019.
