Mark Pollo is an experienced engineering professional specializing in product development within the plastics industry. Currently serving as Principal Product Development Engineer at Washington Penn Plastic since August 1998, Mark oversees the development of compounds for various applications including injection, extrusion, and film. Mark's expertise encompasses the formulation of reinforced thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers, with a focus on building and construction, appliances, and film and packaging markets. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Product Development Engineer at Ferro Corporation, where Mark developed mineral reinforced automotive compounds for major automotive manufacturers, and as Senior Quality Technician at Ampacet, where Mark was involved in color matching and evaluating concentrates for various applications. Mark's career began at Radiation Dynamics as a Product Development Technician, formulating products for heat shrink tubing.
