Hojun Song is a Research Analyst at Washington CORE since September 2017, specializing in the Health-related Internet of Things (IoT) devices markets and defense procurement in Southeast Asia, alongside contributing a whitepaper on telemedicine trends in the United States. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Contractor, where research on Open Innovation cases in South Korea was conducted and documents were translated between Korean and English. Hojun also interned at the Korea Economic Institute of America, focusing on peacekeeping operations and trade data analysis, and served as a PSFR Intern with UNHCR, organizing fundraising efforts. Prior military service includes a role as Sergeant and Transportation Management Coordinator in the Republic of Korea Army.
