Belko Abdoul Aziz Diallo, Ph.D, Ing. is a seasoned data management scientist with extensive experience in supervising and leading data management operations, IT systems, and geospatial analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Data Management Department at WASCAL since May 2016, Belko has been instrumental in enhancing the organization's data infrastructure and implementing data management strategies across multiple transboundary observation networks. Prior roles include CEO and CTO of BeGeoIT, where Belko focused on geomatics and technology development, and a significant academic background highlighted by a PhD in Geomatics from Université Laval. Throughout the career, Belko has contributed to various research and development projects, demonstrating expertise in data management, technology integration, and geospatial intelligence.
