Michael Slovacek has a diverse work experience in the field of GIS. Michael started their career as a GIS Technician at Devon Energy in 2009, where they created and maintained spatial data for oil and gas land operations. Michael also served as a GIS Technician II, responsible for lead GIS contact for different business units and producing custom maps for oil and gas agreements. In 2014, they took on the role of a GIS Analyst at Devon Energy, acting as the primary GIS contact for geospatial mapping solutions and instructing web mapping classes. Michael also assisted in the transition to Geocortex Silverlight and HTML5.
