Ted Leinbaugh OBE PHD currently serves as a Senior Advisor and Director of British Affairs at the Association of Marshall Scholars since February 2017. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ted holds the position of Professor, specializing in Medieval Literature, and teaches a course on Peace, War, and Defense in collaboration with former British Ambassador to the US, Sir Christopher Meyer. Ted also mentors students through the UNC Carolina Scholars Program and has been involved with the Warrior-Scholar Project since 2015. Prior roles include Cultural Attaché and various leadership positions within the Association of Marshall Scholars, where efforts included revitalizing the organization and fostering connections within the Marshall Alumni community. Ted chaired the Marshall Scholarship Selection Committee for the Southeastern United States from 1997 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master’s degree from Harvard University, a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor's degree from Yale University.
