Cassie Elder, MSW, currently serves as the Admissions and Student Veteran Recruitment Manager at Warrior-Scholar Project since May 2021, after previously holding the role of Outreach Assistant. Prior to this, Cassie worked at the University of Michigan School of Social Work as a Graduate Student from September 2018 to May 2021. Earlier experience includes positions as a Life Enrichment Assistant at United Methodist Retirement Communities and Social Worker at Michigan Medicine. Cassie has a substantial tenure at Warrior-Scholar Project from December 2013 to August 2019, where roles included Assistant Campus Coordinator, Consultant, and Assistant Program Director. Other notable positions include Director of Operations at VetCoRe, Social Worker at Glacier Hills Senior Living Community, Unit Secretary at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Communications Manager and Document Control Specialist at James Group International, and Sales Associate at Victoria's Secret. Cassie holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
