Elizabeth Gomez, MPA, PHR has worked in Human Resources for over 20 years. Elizabeth began their career in 1999 as a Payroll Manager at Superior Grocers, where they managed a staff of 5+ employees and was responsible for weekly payroll functions for Retailer & Distribution Warehouse Center with 24+ locations and 4200+ employees. In 2006, they became a Senior Human Resources Generalist at First American Home Buyers Protection, where they supervised a Human Resources department of 5+ employees and provided HR support to management and employees for 3+ locations and approximately 800 employees (multi-state). From 2014-2017, they held the role of Human Resources Generalist at Super King Markets and Senior Human Resources Generalist at Infinity Malibu. At both companies, they were responsible for HR responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, employment law, payroll, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports, monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, maintain collaborative and productive internal relationships with corporate office, facilities, and internal customers, leave of absences, independent contractor agreements. Elizabeth Gomez holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from California State University, Northridge, which they obtained in 2021. Elizabeth also holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration: Human Resources Management, which they obtained from California State University, Northridge in 1997. In addition, they hold a PHR Certification from Brandman University.
