Colleen Stephens has an extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Colleen began their career in 1990 as a District Sales Manager for American Medical Security. During their 11+ years in this position, they developed strong relationships in the agent community of North Central and Eastern Oklahoma and consistently met or exceeded all quotas, averaging more than 150% of annual sales goals for the North Central Oklahoma territory. Additionally, they served as the Self Funding Coordinator, providing cross-functional training to independent agents/brokers, current clients and potential new clients on the various choices and differences of the self funding product in comparison to a fully insured group product.
In 2006, Colleen joined Rogers Benefit Group as a Sales Representative, utilizing strong agent relationships to promote and deliver benefit communications and enrollment solutions to both new and existing clients.
In 2007, Colleen began working for Excelsior Benefits as an Account Executive. During their tenure, they commenced business from a 0 premium sales territory to over $3,261,336.00 in small group medical premium and achieved 90% client retention in less than 3 years.
In 2011, Colleen began working for Lovelace Health Plan as a Sales Executive Lovelace Medicare Plan. In this role, they were responsible for initiating enrollment of eligible Medicare beneficiaries into a Medicare Cost plan, prospecting and qualifying appropriate new enrollment opportunities, and establishing a high quality customer experience.
In 2013, Colleen began working for GlobalHealth as a Manager, Key Products. In this role, they were responsible for gathering and prioritizing feedback to drive product innovation and increase customer adoption and retention. Colleen also created sales and educational presentations and marketing material, ensuring all materials were compliant with current CMS regulations and guidelines.
In 2017, Colleen began working for Tallgrass Benefits LLC as VP Senior Sales Division.
Most recently, Colleen began working for Warner Pacific Insurance Services as a Medicare Sales Consultant in 2022.
Colleen Stephens attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College from 1982 to 1983, where they obtained a Nursing Assistant degree in the field of Nursing. Colleen also attended American Medical Security Training for Insurance Management Sales.
