Nathan DeVries is a Patent Attorney at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, with experience managing a large patent portfolio and handling extensive prosecution and litigation efforts for technological innovations. Proficient in preparing and prosecuting patent applications across various domains, including computer, software, and mechanical technologies, Nathan also negotiates licensing agreements and provides legal counsel on software development and open source licensing. Prior to this role, Nathan worked as a Digital Design Engineer at GE Aviation, where designs were implemented in aerospace applications, and as a Controls Engineer at Dematic, focusing on electronics design and high-speed material handling systems. Nathan holds a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Grand Valley State University.
