Yumi Chen is a skilled designer with extensive experience in commercial, retail, and mixed-use design. Currently employed at Ware Malcomb since January 2022, Yumi has previously held positions as a project designer at Element Architects and Boucher Design Group, where collaboration and production of construction documents were key responsibilities. Yumi's background includes project management and intern architect roles at Natex Architects and Haltner H.A.I., respectively, focusing on Revit-generated schematic designs for educational and financial institutions. Yumi holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington. Additional early experiences include roles as a Mandarin Chinese translator and teacher assistant.
