Bill Goodwin has worked as a Head of IP/IT - Partner - Intellectual Property and Information Technology at Ward Hadaway since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Partner - Intellectual Property and Information Technology at the same company from 2014 to 2021. Before joining Ward Hadaway, Bill worked as an Associate Solicitor - Intellectual Property and Information Technology at the company from September 2002 to May 2014. Additionally, they served as a Senior Legal Clerk at Browell Smith & Co Solicitors in 2000-2001.
Bill Goodwin attended UCL from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained an LL.B. Law degree with a focus on Law. Bill then went on to Northumbria University from 2000 to 2001, completing a Postgraduate Legal Practice Course in Law. In 2008, they completed a 2 Week Residential Course in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Bristol. In 2011, they participated in the ITMA Summer Programme at Queen Mary University of London, specializing in Trade Mark Law. Currently, they are pursuing a Registered Trade Mark Attorney Intensive Qualification Course in Trade Mark Law at Nottingham Trent University, which they started in 2012.
