Greg Egan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Greg is currently working at Warbler Labs as an Engineering Manager since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at the same company from September 2021 to March 2022. In 2021, Greg was a Contributor at Goldfinch, and a founding team member at LinksDAO.

In 2020, they worked as an Angel Investor at AirAngels and co-founded The Landing, where they also served as the Head of Engineering. At Airbnb from 2017 to 2020, Greg held the positions of Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Notably, they played a critical role in proposing and implementing the Verified initiative, which involved verifying millions of home listings for accurate information and amenities. Greg also led the growth and scaling of Airbnb Plus.

Before joining Airbnb, Greg was a Senior Software Engineer at Gigwalk, where their team was acquired by Airbnb for an incubator project. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at ESPN, contributing to a major redesign of espn.com. Greg started their career with an internship at InfoCures and worked as a Web Developer at USAIntern, LLC.

Greg Egan completed their high school education at Eastern Regional High School from 2003 to 2007. After graduating, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with an Information Systems option at Kean University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, Greg also participated in a study abroad program at Macquarie University, although they did not earn a degree from this experience.
