Dave Maffei is an experienced educational leader and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Owner of Halfsies Cookie Company since July 2020 and the Assistant Principal at Wappingers Central School District since July 2016. Prior roles include Dean of Students at Enlarged City School District of Middletown from August 2013 to July 2016, Assistant Varsity Football Coach at Spackenkill School District from August 2010 to December 2013, and Crisis Intervention Counselor at Dutchess County BOCES from September 2007 to August 2013, where Dave Maffei developed strong rapport with students to aid in crisis management. An early career endeavor included working as a Guidance Counselor Intern at Arlington High School in early 2007. Dave Maffei holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership and Administration from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, a Master of Science in Education in School Counseling from LIU Hudson, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz.
